Sava as a brand has been part of the Goodyear Group since 1998.
The history of the brand, however, goes back to 1920, when the rubber industry began to develop in the town of Kranj in Slovenia. The company founded at that time - the predecessor of Sava - led to the establishment of the first factory producing rubber. The company's name comes from the river of the same name flowing through Slovenia.
Today, the Sava production plant is one of the most advanced of its kind in Europe. Not only are Sava tires manufactured there, mainly winter and High Performance tires, but also other mid-range and high-class tires belonging to the Goodyear concern. In all cases, the same state-of-the-art technical solutions are used.
In Poland, Sava tires are produced at the factory in Dębica.
